6/10(土)今年第2回目の国際体験DAYが行われました。今回のテーマは『The UK Day』ということで、イギリス人のSimon 先生をお招きして、イギリスの歴史や文化について教えていただきました。

中高合わせて２６名の有志の生徒が参加。熱心にサイモン先生の話を聞いていました。イギリスのファミリークレスト（家紋）になぞらえて、オリジナルの家紋を考えたり、クイズに答えたり….セッションは大いに盛り上がりました。

最後はイギリスでは日常生活の一部となっている、ティーパーティーをみんなで楽しんで、会は終了となりました。とても楽しく学びの多い国際体験DAYでした。

On Saturday, June 10, the second International Day Experience was held this year.  The theme of this event was “The UK Day,” and we invited a British teacher, Simon, to introduce us to the history and culture of the UK.

A total of 26 students from the junior and senior high schools participated in the event.  They listened to the teacher enthusiastically.  The students thought of their own original family crests, which were compared to the British family crests, and took a quiz…. The session was a great success.

The session ended with a tea party, which is a part of an everyday event in the UK.  It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot at the June International Day Experience.
