2/22(木)５.６時間目を使って、全校で英語スピーチコンテストを行いました。これは学年ごとに課題英文原稿があり、それを一定の時間内で発表するというものです。クラス予選がありそれを勝ち抜いて来た２１名の生徒が、決勝大会に進みました。さらにハイグレードの生徒たちには、同じタイトルですがより長く難度の高い原稿が渡されます。

２年 Pinocchio
３年 Toy Story

みんな熱弁を振るい、ジェスチャーをつけて一生懸命に発表してくれました。最終的には以下のような成績となりました。

The 26th English Recitation Contest

On Thursday, February 22, during 5th and 6th period, the whole school held an English recitation contest. 　Each grade had an assigned English manuscript, which they had to present within a certain amount of time. 　There was a class elimination contest, and the 21 students who made it through to the finals were chosen to participate. The high grade students are given a longer and more difficult manuscript with the same title.

ASSIGNMENT

1st year – The Snow White
2nd year – Pinocchio
3rd year – Toy Story

The students worked very hard to give impassioned speeches and even gestures.  The final results were as follows.
